Doris Ramirez Duque

Doris is a lawyer who graduated from the Rafael Urdaneta University with the academic distinction cum laude in 2017 with a specialization in Civil and Family Law from the North University of the city of Barranquilla, Colombia. She also has a degree in Business Law from the Rafael Belloso Chacín University.

She has been part of Rivera Fernández & Asociados since 2017, where she has worked as a legal assistant in the area of ​​Private Law, with special emphasis on the branches of Civil and Commercial Law. Doris has participated in the drafting of civil and commercial documents, as well as in the protocolization processes in the corresponding registries. In addition to this, she has assisted in various litigations dealing with civil matters, conducted proceedings before the respective courts and assisted the other members of the legal team in all phases of the said legal proceedings. She has also actively participated in various cases of the law firm’s pro-bono practice and provided legal assistance to non-profit associations.

During her legal studies, she belonged to the honour roll of the law school continuously from February 2015 to March 2018 thanks to her academic excellence.
