Andrea is a professional with an exceptional track record who combines Law, Political Science, and Business Management to offer comprehensive legal counsel. A graduate of the University of Zulia with a law degree and a Bachelor’s degree in Political and Administrative Sciences from Rafael Urdaneta University (where she earned an outstanding GPA), her postgraduate studies include a Master’s degree in Business Management from Rafael Belloso Chacín University, as well as specializations in Labor Law, Corporate Law, Finance, and Management Coaching.
This solid academic foundation allows her to accurately diagnose the legal, political, and economic context of her clients, intervening in corporate matters with a perspective that balances legal rigor with managerial efficiency.
Since joining Rivera Fernández & Associates in January 2017, Andrea has independently led the corporate governance practice, providing strategic support to shareholders, boards of directors, and senior management. Her previous experience as an executive at a leading Spanish financial institution gave her advanced expertise in accounting, cost analysis, and risk indicator assessment. Thanks to this, she applies an Economic Analysis of Law approach, transforming legal management into a tool for profitability and security for business activity.
Beyond her private practice, Andrea is deeply involved in academia as a professor at the School of Political Science at Rafael Urdaneta University, where she teaches History of Political Ideas and Comparative Politics. Her teaching work extends to advising and serving on thesis committees, supported by her professional certification. She is also a regular member of the Association of Young Jurists and Law Students, keeping abreast of current legal trends.
