Virginia Carolina Fernández Rivera

Virginia is a lawyer who graduated from the Rafael Belloso Chacín University. She joined Rivera Fernández & Asociados in 2004. During her 16 years of experience, she has worked as a lawyer in the areas of Commercial Law and Civil Law.

 

As part of her professional experience, she has advised national and international clients on corporate and commercial matters. She has been in charge of processes of incorporation and liquidation of commercial companies, increase and decrease of share capital and negotiations and resolution of conflicts between shareholders. Likewise, she has been in charge of preparing civil and commercial contracts, procedures and legal advice for companies dedicated to the construction sector, maritime trade, as well as commercial and medical centres and various non-profit foundations and associations.

 

Virginia has experience as a lawyer in the area of ​​Real Estate Law, she has been in charge of complex sales processes, being one of the lawyers in charge of the sale project of the Las Playitas Shopping Centre as part of which the subdivision and adjudication of 1.982 stores was carried out.

 

Virginia also has extensive professional experience in the field of civil law, being the attorney responsible for various divorce processes.

 

In addition to her work at Rivera Fernández & Asociados, Virginia is the co-founder and director of the Litigation and Investigation Centre for the Defence of Women’s Rights, a civil association that aims to defend women who have suffered violations of their recognized rights in the national constitution, as well as those stipulated in international treaties.
