Rafael is a lawyer who graduated from the Rafael Urdaneta University with the academic distinction cum laude. He has a Diploma in Business Law from the Rafael Belloso Chacin University. He began working at Rivera Fernández & Asociados in 2016. As part of the legal team, he has advised and contributed to the representation of national and international clients in various commercial, civil and administrative matters.
As part of his work, Rafael has participated in processes of incorporation and liquidation of mercantile companies, increase and decrease of share capital and modification of bylaws. He has also been in charge of the creation and registration of non-profit associations and has assisted in various sales processes.
Rafael has collaborated with the litigation team, monitoring various cases in municipal and trial courts in civil and commercial matters. He has worked on the drafting and introduction of various writings addressed to judiciary and administrative entities. Currently, Rafael provides legal advice on issues of immigration processes.
In addition to his work experience, Rafael was a fellow professor at the Rafael Urdaneta University in the subjects of Private International Law, Intellectual Property Law and Community Service, for which he has a Diploma in Teaching for University Education from the University of Zulia.
Rafael speaks Spanish and advanced English.
