Luis Sanfiel

Luis is a lawyer who graduated in the Rafael Urdaneta University. He began working at Rivera Fernández & Asociados in September 2019, where he completed the internship programme.

At Rivera Fernández & Asociados, Luis assists in various legal issues in the areas of Commercial Law, Civil Law, and in matters of protection of children and adolescents. As part of his work, he has participated in the drafting of documents, commercial acts and has assisted in the monitoring and review of cases in municipal and first instance courts.

During his university career, Luis has been recognized with the honour roll decoration for his academic merits. He has also participated in various United Nations models and events on sports law and maritime legislation and management.

In addition to his studies and professional experience, Luis has worked as a volunteer in various institutions, including the Marist Youth Movement, Amnesty International’s community service and the Basta de Balas campaign. Luis has demonstrated his interest and willingness in delving into complex legal matters of maritime and sports law.
