Luis Sanfiel

Luis is a lawyer who graduated from Rafael Urdaneta University, where he was recognized on the honor roll several times. He completed postgraduate studies in Commercial Law, having passed all coursework except for his final thesis.

 

Since 2019, he has been a member of Rivera Fernández & Associates, where he currently works as an Associate Attorney. His practice focuses on Civil, Commercial, Labor, and Criminal Law, as well as child and adolescent protection, where he works both independently and in collaboration with other attorneys at the firm. In his professional practice, he regularly advises corporations and individuals, representing them in various legal matters.

 

His experience includes the technical management of contentious legal proceedings before municipal, trial, and appellate courts. He is directly involved in all phases of the legal process, including drafting legal documents, participating in hearings, handling procedural issues, and presenting and submitting evidence, always striving to effectively protect the interests of his clients. He also participates in defining and implementing procedural strategies and in the comprehensive handling of assigned matters.

 

In the commercial sphere, he practices corporate advisory services, participating in the structuring of companies, drafting articles of incorporation, and preparing minutes of shareholder meetings, as well as addressing legal requirements related to the operation and regulatory compliance of businesses.

 

As an associate attorney, he has spent his entire professional career at Rivera Fernández & Asociados, having previously served as an intern and legal assistant, which has allowed him to acquire a comprehensive understanding of the legal profession and consolidate experience in both litigation and advisory work. During his academic training, he participated in Model United Nations and activities related to sports law, as well as academic initiatives related to maritime law legislation and management. Additionally, he has collaborated on social activities through the Marist Youth Movement, Amnesty International community service programs, and the “Stop the Bullets” campaign.
