
Virginia is a lawyer who graduated from Rafael Belloso Chacín University and has been with the law firm Rivera Fernández & Associates since 2004. With over twenty (20) years of professional experience, she has developed a distinguished practice in the areas of Commercial and Civil Law.
In the corporate and commercial sphere, she has advised national and international clients on the structuring, incorporation, and liquidation of commercial companies, as well as on processes involving increases and decreases in share capital. She also has extensive experience in negotiating and resolving shareholder disputes, as well as in drafting and reviewing civil and commercial contracts. Her practice includes comprehensive legal support for companies in various sectors, such as construction, maritime trade, shopping centers, medical centers, foundations, and non-profit organizations.
In real estate, she has participated in highly complex transactions, notably her involvement in the sale of the Las Playitas Shopping Center, which involved the subdivision and allocation of one thousand nine hundred and eighty-two (1,982) commercial spaces. She has also participated in the sale of approximately one thousand (1,000) hectares of land belonging to clients of the law firm.
In the area of Civil Law, she has a solid track record in handling probate and divorce proceedings, providing strategic advice and legal representation in sensitive matters.
In addition to her professional practice, she is the co-founder and director of the Litigation and Research Center for the Defense of Women’s Rights, a civil association dedicated to the protection and defense of women’s rights, in accordance with the Constitution of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and international treaties on the subject.
